Uhmmm..... Found this photo of some friends annnnd... I liked the position they were in so I used it. The characters don't even remotely resemble them. And these are just people I made up randomly. Woo...
Uhhhmmmm... I like the girl on the top left and the guy on the lower right. They're my favorites in this one.
Okay I'll shut up now.
Edit Note: Pic replaced with better quality scan ^.^
Firstly, Kimmy..your comment meant more than you can know to me. Such compliments really lifted my spirits, you know? Whether or not I'm the one who made you feel welcome here, that sort of knowledge..makes a guy feel worthwhile. Thank you for sticking with me
And now, to the art!
I like this one muchly. It's a neat concept, and well-executed composition--the layered stairs make it far more artistic and dimensional than simply a multi-character pic, and the characters themselves are all very individual, with natural, fitting poses and unique expressions to each. Personality is something that really stands out in an image like this...and it's one of the reasons I like it so much. I'm especially fond of the girl at top, too...not only is she posed attractively, but she's got this very collected, amused expression that somehow makes me smile. The shading is quite well done, too, with just enough detail and contrast to make things stand out.
It's good to see your work again, Kimmy. Keep it up, please! With every one, you only get better
Aww see now, this is one of the things I've missed about you Tom. ^.^ You have the most in-depth comments that actually mean something. It's not just " cool" or "I like it." You actually give real opinions - you're the type of person that makes an artist want to continue drawing and improving. I appreciate that very much. I find it inspiring and it makes me want to work harder.
You're amazing as well, so make submissions more often that you do. :-þ Gives me a reason to smile when you do.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
